- K-Pop is Korean pop music.
Some people would say, it's just pop music,
but it's something different to it.
There's something unique.
- People say to me, how do you understand what they're saying
when you don't speak Korean?
You just like them for their looks and their dances.
- When I became a fan, I was going through a lot
of personal things.
Their lyrics, their music uplifted me.
I have so much to look forward to now.
- I feel like people really rely on these K-Pop idols to connect
when they wouldn't otherwise connect
in a way with other people.
- I think, at the end of the day,
K-Pop is just another genre of music,
as well as a culture phenomenon, and it's being
internationalized here.
But at the end of the day, no one
should really be teased or targeted
for liking something that's supposed to be
an international language.
